Description

The objective of this PhD project is to develop strategies for the safe and adaptive navigation of autonomous mobile robots in dynamic human environments. The candidate will research methods that combine data-driven autonomy with formal safety guarantees, adapting to unpredictable human interactions and ensuring both performance and comfort in crowded scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research in real-time safe learning and control of autonomous robotic systems.
  • Formulating and refining research questions.
