EducationMaster’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field.
SkillsKnowledge of fracture processes of materials, high-strain rate mechanical testing, and microstructural analysis (highly desirable).
AttributesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; independent and multidisciplinary teamwork ability; proactive attitude.
LanguageFluent in English (written and oral).

Job Description

The selected candidate will be involved in:

  • Experimental characterization of EMs under extreme loading conditions.
  • Chemical, thermal, and microstructural characterization using various advanced techniques.
  • Conducting hypervelocity impact experiments.
  • Generating unique datasets to understand the microstructural, thermomechanical, and reactive behavior of EMs.
  • Accessing and utilizing advanced facilities and computational resources for research.
