Eligibility/Qualification

  • Relevant Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • Must achieve an average grade of B or better (or equivalent).
  • Strong academic background required; documentation of a completed Master’s degree is mandatory prior to starting the position.
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wet lab experience
  • CAD software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino)
  • Scientific writing experience
  • Proficiency in Scandinavian languages

Job Description

  • Complete the doctoral education leading to a PhD.
  • Conduct high-quality research in PFAS removal technologies.
  • Design, test, and optimize electrochemical separation and ultrasonic destruction methods.
  • Publish research findings in prestigious scientific journals.
  • Present research at conferences and engage in public dissemination.
  • Collaborate actively within the Water and Wastewater Systems Engineering research group.
  • Participate in research stays at international institutions.
