Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Neuroscience or related fields.
- Experience with in-vivo imaging/electrophysiology in rodents and/or EEG in humans.
- Affinity for clinical work and understanding of perceptual processes.
- Good programming, analytical, writing, and presenting skills.
- Proficient in English and Dutch (for working with patients).
- Willingness to obtain qualifications such as the art. 9 certificate.
Job Description
As a PhD candidate, you will:
- Design, plan, and execute experimental studies in both mice and human subjects.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results critically.
- Write manuscripts and present findings at national and international scientific meetings.
- Collaborate with local and international researchers.
- Participate in the Faculty of Science PhD training program.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and master’s level students.
- Co-supervise internships for MSc/BSc students.
- Complete and defend a PhD thesis within a four-year appointment.
