Description
The research is part of the COMBINED project, which aims to improve climate change resilience and biodiversity across various landscapes in the Netherlands. The PhD candidate will focus on:
- Analyzing drought and recovery patterns in peri-urban landscapes using remote sensing data.
- Upscaling knowledge on drought resilience from species to landscape level.
- Combining biodiversity information with remote sensing proxies.
- Assessing existing monitoring strategies and their effectiveness in managing biodiversity and climate resilience.
The position offers a unique opportunity to engage with 24 societal organizations and knowledge institutes, participating in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
