Description
The selected candidate will investigate the translational value of animal models to understand how both preclinical and marketed therapies work in the context of atherosclerosis and MASH. The candidate will contribute to developing novel read-outs for analyzing inflammatory and cell biological processes, conducting experiments, and collaborating closely with researchers within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the department’s knowledge base and strengthening relationships with the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate the effects of selected therapies on atherosclerosis and MASH using animal models.
- Develop and apply new read-outs for inflammatory and cell biological analyses.
- Perform experiments and analyze data in collaboration with fellow researchers.
- Contribute to knowledge exchange within the team and with external partners.
- Assist in preparing scientific publications and presenting at (inter)national conferences.
