Research Area

The position is based at Linköping University, specifically in the Laboratory of Organic Electronics in Norrköping, Sweden.
Eligibility/Qualification
Essential Requirements:
- M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in material science, chemistry, physics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of semiconductor materials and/or organic electronics.
- Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel for research and conferences.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in organic semiconductor processing and characterization.
- Knowledge related to the doping of organic semiconductors, photochemistry, or photocatalysis.
Eligibility for FADOS programme:
- Must be in the first four years of research career and have not been awarded a doctoral degree at the time of recruitment.
- Must not have resided in Sweden for more than 12 months in the past three years.
Description
The doctoral candidate will join the FADOS program, a collaborative network of 17 doctoral candidates across Europe. The role includes exploring doping strategies, performing optical/electrical measurements, and implementing materials into functional devices. The project includes three secondments in Switzerland, Spain, and Germany to enhance specialized skills.
