Research Area
This PhD project will focus on the behaviour and ecophysiology of sea lice and selected zooplankton species, utilizing laboratory experiments and fieldwork to develop methods and analyze ecological responses.
Location
The position is based in Trondheim, Norway, at NTNU’s Department of Biology.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Relevant Master’s degree in Biology or equivalent.
- Strong academic background, with an average grade of B or better.
- Very good oral and written presentation skills in English.
- Experience with zooplankton, parasites, or aquaculture is preferred.
- Strong motivation for research and a collaborative spirit.
Description
As a PhD Candidate, your duties will include:
- Completing 30 ECTS of doctoral education.
- Conducting high-quality research in the area described.
- Publishing academic papers and disseminating findings.
- Writing and defending a PhD thesis.
- Engaging in national and international research activities.
