Eligibility/Qualification

| Education | Completed master studies in oceanography, marine sciences, climate science, or a related field. |
| Programming Skills | Experience with programming languages, preferably Python. |

| Preferred Additional Skills | Experience in ocean dynamics, ocean/biogeochemical modelling, and handling large data sets. |
Job Description
The PhD candidate will enhance the research group by contributing to:
- Numerical modelling, analysis, and interpretation of marine biogeochemistry simulations based on NEMO.
- Investigating the role of (sub)mesoscale dynamics in biogeochemical processes within the Agulhas region amid climate change.
- Developing a project focus collaboratively based on scientific interests and strengths.
