Description
As a PhD student, you will be responsible for carrying out an independent research project focused on identifying non-coding driver mutations in cancer genomes using AI and evolutionary modeling. Your research will involve:
- Developing and refining AI models to predict the functional impact of non-coding mutations.
- Collaborating with experimental biologists to validate computational predictions.
- Utilizing cutting-edge deep learning architectures (e.g., convolutional networks, transformers) to analyze extensive whole-genome sequencing datasets.
The position offers a unique opportunity to bridge computational genomics and cancer biology, leading to significant insights into cancer genome evolution.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit their applications electronically, which must include the following documents in PDF format:
- Motivated letter of application (maximum one page).
- CV including education, experience, language skills, and relevant skills.
- Certified copy of Master of Science diploma and transcript of records (original and English translation if needed).
- Publication list (if available), summarizing selected publications and the applicant’s contributions.
