Scholarship Description:
This PhD Fellowship offers an opportunity to conduct experimental research in developing and characterizing sustainable polymer/composite materials for agrifood applications. The chosen candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Danila Merino at POLYMAT Fundazioa. Responsibilities include producing reports and research publications. The fellowship is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MCIN) and the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI) through the Maria de Maeztu grant.
Eligibility:
- Hold a university or master’s degree in chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, or related fields.
- Have demonstrated research experience in developing and characterizing sustainable polymer/composite materials for agrifood applications.
- Proficiency in plant-food science is desirable.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
