Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences.
- Work experience in academic or private research environments, particularly in:
- Stem cell biology
- Immunology
- Gene editing
- High-throughput screening
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Optimize and scale up protocols for mutation correction in human T cells and hematopoietic stem cells.
- Conduct cell transplant experiments using humanized mouse models.
- Design and optimize high-throughput biology experiments and custom Next Generation Sequencing libraries.
- Scale up protocols to pre-GMP and GMP standards.
- Participate in an approved PhD program at the University of Oslo, with an expectation to complete the project within the fellowship period.
