Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences.
  • Work experience in academic or private research environments, particularly in:
  • Stem cell biology
  • Immunology
  • Gene editing
  • High-throughput screening
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Optimize and scale up protocols for mutation correction in human T cells and hematopoietic stem cells.
  • Conduct cell transplant experiments using humanized mouse models.
  • Design and optimize high-throughput biology experiments and custom Next Generation Sequencing libraries.
  • Scale up protocols to pre-GMP and GMP standards.
  • Participate in an approved PhD program at the University of Oslo, with an expectation to complete the project within the fellowship period.
