Eligibility/Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong background in Visual Computing, specifically in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, HCI, Computer Graphics, or Computer Vision.
- Experience with AR/VR development (Unity, Unreal Engine) and strong programming skills.
- Knowledge or strong interest in view synthesis and rendering technology.
- Desirable: Previous experience with user studies and empirical research methods.
Description
The PhD position centers around two main challenges:
- Generation of Immersive Instructions: Researching how to create immersive instructions from sparse data sources, involving view synthesis and instructional modeling.
- Personalized Immersive Replay: Developing personalized rendering of instructions through real-time overlays, activity recognition, and user-adaptive guidance.
