Description
This PhD project aims to design innovative oxynitrides exhibiting specific properties such as magnetic, electronic, and ionic conductivity, suitable for various applications including photocatalysis and energy storage. The selected candidate will engage in:
- Synthesis of targeted compounds through solid-state synthesis.
- Characterization using X-ray and electron diffraction, microscopy, and other complementary techniques.
- Application testing in international laboratories through secondments lasting up to 3 months.
The PhD candidate will enroll in the Materials Science PhD program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, co-supervised by Prof. A. Fuertes and Prof. M.R. Palacín.
