Eligibility/Qualification:

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in (Applied) Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Strong background in either physics or chemistry
  • Experience in the areas of patterning, surface science, or thin film deposition would be an asset
  • Interest in device fabrication schemes
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

Job Description:

  • Investigate the interaction of photons, electrons, and plasmas with 2D materials using in-situ techniques
  • Develop area-selective processes, analyze deposited films, and demonstrate selectivity
  • Report results to collaborators, prepare scientific papers and conference presentations
  • Provide daily supervision of BSc and MSc students
