Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc degree in electrical engineering or relevant program (to be completed by the end of 2025).
- Interest and/or knowledge in Machine Learning and Data-driven modeling.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a research team.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Mobility Criteria:
Candidates must not have resided or conducted main activities in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.
Description
The PhD candidate will focus on understanding the exchange of parasitic energy of cables with their environment using AI tools. The key objectives include:
- Developing a structural understanding of the ElectroMagnetic Noise Footprint (EMNF).
- Combining multiple EMNFs to optimize cable routing in MedTech products.
The position offers involvement in a high-quality research environment with professional training opportunities, aimed at addressing societal challenges in EMI solutions.
