🎓 Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Forest Science, Remote Sensing, or a closely related field
  • Strong interest in forest ecology and remote sensing
  • Proficiency in data science and scientific writing
  • Hands-on experience with remote sensing tools and analysis

🧪 Job Description

The selected PhD candidate will:

  • Conduct national-scale assessments of functional diversity and resilience in forest ecosystems
  • Integrate remote sensing data with forest plot inventories
  • Develop resilience maps to identify traits and landscape patterns that enhance forest sustainability
  • Work collaboratively within the DIVERSE research consortium
  • Participate in conference travel and benefit from full research infrastructure (lab space, software, etc.)
