Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in physics, astrophysics, or related field by the starting date.
  • Strong theoretical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience in scientific writing and outreach is advantageous.

Job Description

  • Full-time PhD appointment for four years leading to a dissertation.
  • Participate in teaching as a teaching assistant (approximately 10% of time).
  • Engage in training courses, national research schools, and various research projects.
  • Collaborate with teams involved in major large-scale structure surveys, such as LSST DESC and Euclid.
  • Involvement in outreach activities and supervision of BSc and MSc students.
