Description
This PhD project aims to develop small molecules to degrade extracellular or membrane-bound proteases implicated in cancer by facilitating their endolysosomal uptake and destruction. Candidates will assess lysosome-targeting compounds in cell models, analyze lysosomal degradation of targeted proteases, and evaluate the effects on cancer cell phenotypes. The role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic, interdisciplinary research team and access state-of-the-art facilities.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit the following documents:
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Copies of MSc degree
- Copies of academic transcripts
- Contact information for at least two references
Applications should be submitted via the online application tool of KU Leuven.
