Eligibility/Qualification:
- Diploma or Master’s degree in natural or life sciences with a strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX-based systems and HPC environments.
- Experience in R and/or Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with workflow management tools (Snakemake, Nextflow).
- Strong coding skills, including version control (Git) and script documentation.
- Knowledge of sequencing data analysis, including sequence alignment, quality control, and variant calling.
- Familiarity with sequencing databases (TCGA/ICGC, UCSC, Ensemble).
- Basic understanding of cell biology, molecular biology, and cancer biology.
- Fluency in scientific English.
Job Description:
- Conduct computational analysis of large-scale genomic datasets.
- Apply and develop computational tools for mutational signature analysis.
- Process raw sequencing data (Whole Genome and single nucleus RNA sequencing).
- Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
- Plan, perform, and document bioinformatics laboratory work.
- Collaborate with the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM).
- Present findings in internal and external meetings.
