Eligibility/Qualification
- Outstanding M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Research experience in organic chemistry, analytical methods (HPLC, GC, MS, NMR), enzyme purification and assays.
- Experience in molecular biology (molecular cloning) is desirable.
- Ability to work in an international team with interdisciplinary insights.
- High motivation and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
Job Description
- Conduct research on lysine cyclodeamidases and non-heme iron-dependent halogenases.
- Perform enzyme expression, characterization, and immobilization.
- Evaluate candidate enzymes for selectivity and performance in chemoenzymatic cascades.
- Participate in training events and workshops of the Doctoral Network.
- Engage in public dissemination of research results and supervise undergraduate lab sessions.
