Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience in polymeric membrane fuel cells, electrolysis, electrocatalysis, or spectroscopy is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and motivation for high-level research.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary team environment.

Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and evaluating advanced catalytic materials and reactor concepts for CO₂ capture and conversion. Specific tasks include:

  • Developing and evaluating gas diffusion electrodes in electrochemical half-cells.
  • Assembling and characterizing anion exchange membrane electrode assemblies.
  • Conducting electrochemical and physico-structural material characterization.
  • Performing gas phase analysis of reaction products.
  • Engaging in both in situ experiments and preparation of scientific publications.
