Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in polymeric membrane fuel cells, electrolysis, electrocatalysis, or spectroscopy is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and motivation for high-level research.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary team environment.
Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and evaluating advanced catalytic materials and reactor concepts for CO₂ capture and conversion. Specific tasks include:
- Developing and evaluating gas diffusion electrodes in electrochemical half-cells.
- Assembling and characterizing anion exchange membrane electrode assemblies.
- Conducting electrochemical and physico-structural material characterization.
- Performing gas phase analysis of reaction products.
- Engaging in both in situ experiments and preparation of scientific publications.
