Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and image processing techniques.
  • Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Strong understanding of or interest in the physics of electron microscopy image formation.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and capable of independent work while also being a communicative team player.

Job Description

  • Conduct original research in the field of Computational Imaging, specifically applying deep learning to improve EM image quality.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for self-supervised denoising, artifact removal, and data-driven methods for optimizing EM experimental settings.
  • Validate methodologies using EM datasets and collaborate with colleagues to further enhance research outputs.
  • Publish and present scientific findings at international journals and conferences.
  • Engage in educational activities and contribute to the academic community.
