Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification (240 higher education credits, including at least 60 second-cycle credits).
- Strong background in chemistry, especially organic chemistry synthesis and modification of carbohydrate-based materials or other polymeric systems.
- Experience with the processing of cellulose fibers and polymers is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English equivalent to English B/6.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct research on the chemical modification of cellulose fibers.
- Develop materials that behave like vitrimers, which can be reshaped and recycled effectively.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners through the FibRe competence center.
- Participate in the academic environment at KTH and contribute to ongoing research projects.
