Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Systems and Control, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
  • Strong background in mathematical systems and control theory
  • Interest in hybrid dynamical systems and cyber security
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Matlab or Python)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
  • Proficient in spoken and written English

Job Description

The PhD candidate will focus on:

  • Designing resilient control laws for hybrid dynamical systems under adversarial conditions
  • Developing verification and synthesis methods for robust control strategies
  • Engaging in collaborative projects with industry and academic partners across Europe
