Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biophysics, Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Research-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Interest in basic research and its practical applications
  • Motivated to develop teaching skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level)
  • Experience or affinity with cell biology, cell culture, live cell imaging, and microfluidics is an advantage

Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on:

  • Creating advanced 3D cell cultures in microfluidic chips
  • Biophysical engineering of cell and matrix properties
  • Live cell microscopy and development of live-cell reporters
  • Mechanotransduction and mechanobiological analysis
