Eligibility/Qualification

Description
This PhD project focuses on the development of fast design methods for 3D optical systems with scattering surfaces. The candidate will work on computing freeform shapes of optical surfaces using the Monge-Ampère equation and will address scattering elements in optical systems for reducing glare. The role involves collaborating with industrial partners and undertaking teaching responsibilities.
