Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in computational chemistry, physics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in biomolecular simulations, molecular dynamics simulations, or quantum chemistry.
  • Experience with scripting, programming, and quantum chemistry or molecular dynamics codes (e.g., Gaussian, GAMESS, Gromacs, Amber).
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Description

The selected candidate will engage in research focusing on the development of molecular databases for machine learning and force field development. Involvement in the Life & Environment Research Center Ostrava project, particularly in Research Program 3 – Modeling and Simulations, is expected. Supercomputing resources and collaboration opportunities are available for research activities.
