Eligibility/Qualification
- A Master’s or Diploma degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in NMR spectroscopy as well as GC and/or HPLC analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is preferred.
- Strong writing skills, initiative, creativity, and self-motivation.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills; ability to work collaboratively.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in the following tasks:
- Organic synthesis (25%)
- Contribution to teaching and academic self-governance (up to 25%, 2 teaching hours/week during the semester)
- Biocatalysis (20%)
- Enzyme engineering (15%)
- Documentation and presentation of results (10%)
- Preparation of publications (5%)
