Description

This PhD position is part of the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht, where the candidate will contribute to developing advanced biofabrication tools. Responsibilities include creating a novel multiphoton printing device and integrating it with existing bioprinting techniques. The candidate will also mentor students and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration within an ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop light-based biofabrication technologies.
  • Produce complex 3D tissues as advanced in vitro models.
  • Collaborate with biologists, chemists, and clinicians.
  • Supervise BSc and MSc students.

Offer:

  • A four-year position.
  • 38 hours per week.
  • Gross monthly salary between €2,901 and €3,707 (salary scale P).
  • Additional benefits: 8% holiday pay, 8.3% year-end bonus, pension scheme, flexible employment terms.
