Description

The PhD project will explore the viability and limitations of legume production across large agricultural areas in the Mediterranean basin. Utilizing a deterministic and process-based soil-plant simulation model (STICS), candidates will analyze various climatic, edaphic, and management factors that impact legume cultivation. The goal is to generate novel insights that contribute to climate change mitigation strategies in Mediterranean agriculture.
