PhD in Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry: The newly established research group of Prof. Dr. Sadig Aghazada at the University of Bern is inviting applications for PhD positions in synthetic inorganic chemistry. The group focuses on developing novel transition metal complexes, cluster compounds, and reactive extended materials for challenging catalytic transformations. Successful candidates will gain expertise in synthesis, working under air- and moisture-free conditions, and various spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master of Science degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Molecular Sciences, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of fundamental principles of chemistry.
- Experience in synthetic chemistry and relevant analytical techniques.
Job Description:
- Conduct research projects, analyze data, and present results to the group and broader scientific community.
- Assist fellow group members with their research projects.
- Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s student projects.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and Master’s level courses.
