Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A UK honours degree at 2.1 or above or an equivalent qualification from non-UK institutions.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.

Description

This PhD project will investigate:

  1. Advanced manufacturing processes using recycled light alloys and composites.
  2. Development of numerical, analytical, and data-driven modelling methods for process optimization.
  3. Life cycle analysis concerning energy efficiency and CO2 emissions from recycling processes.
