Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must be eligible (or pre-admitted) for a PhD program.
  • Possession of an official degree with at least 300 ECTS credits or a master’s degree allowing access to a PhD.
  • For foreign students: official translation of academic records to Spanish or English required, along with homologation if applicable.

Job Description

  • Engage in research at the intersection of robotics, focusing on kinematics, dynamics, and control for nonholonomic underactuated systems.
  • Work on the development of planning and control methods, addressing open questions in the field.
  • Collaborate with Dr. Josep Maria Porta and Prof. Jaume Franch and potentially undertake research stays abroad.
  • The contract offers a 4-year full-time position with an initial salary of approximately €19,500 gross yearly, increasing to around €24,400 from the second year onward. Additionally, €7,000 is provided for enrolment fees and international research stays.
