Eligibility/Qualification:
- European Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Bioscience Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Strong interest in plant physiology and photobiology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a research team and a keenness to learn new techniques.
Job Description: This full-time PhD position spans 4 years, focusing on the biological mechanisms underlying dynamic light impacts on horticultural crops. You will conduct greenhouse and laboratory experiments, employing physiological measurements, biochemical assays, and -omics technologies. Additionally, you will contribute to a larger applied research project in collaboration with experimental research stations in Flanders.
