Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: Specialized knowledge in chemistry, electrochemistry, and electrophoresis, with a focus on carbon nanotechnology. Knowledge of pre-ceramic polymer chemistry is an advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in preparing and studying thin-film coatings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in instrumental characterization methods, including FTIR spectroscopy, EDX, XPS, Nanoindentation, and tribological studies.
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret experimental data (experience with Python, MATLAB, or OriginPro is beneficial).
- Communication: Strong command of English for writing papers, teaching, and presenting at conferences.
- Portfolio: A record of scientific publications in the relevant field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Optimize ultrathin polysilazane/graphene hybrid coatings using dip-coating and electrophoretic deposition.
- Characterization: Analyze coating morphology, chemical composition, and mechanical properties.
- Performance Testing: Evaluate wear resistance, durability, and friction behavior under various conditions.
- Academic Contribution: Prepare and defend a PhD thesis, publish findings in high-impact journals, and participate in interdisciplinary research projects.
