Eligibility / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (MSc) in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or related fields (equivalent to 240 ECTS)
  • Experience with or interest in manufacturing systems and technology
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior knowledge in maintenance engineering
  • Empirical research skills (qualitative & quantitative)
  • Proficiency in Swedish (or willingness to learn within 2 years)
  • Strong analytical, independent, and innovative mindset

📋 Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research to enhance maintenance in high-tech, sustainable industries
  • Work collaboratively with industrial partners
  • Publish in high-impact journals and present at conferences
  • Engage in teaching (≤20%) and departmental duties
  • Complete a PhD within 4–5 years
