Description
Epilepsy affects approximately 50 million people worldwide, including over 11 million children. This project aims to develop tailored cannabis-based therapeutics to improve treatment for children with epilepsy, who often face severe psychosocial challenges. By utilizing 3D printing technology, the project will focus on creating precise oral and/or topical cannabis products, addressing barriers to medication adherence and cultural sensitivities. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life for children with epilepsy and their families.
