- Strong skills in computational molecular physics and statistical mechanics
- Keen interest in interdisciplinary research and collaboration with experimental groups
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in research projects focusing on variational free energy methods, thermodynamics of solvation shells, Markovian thermodynamics, and functional mechanisms of complex biomolecules such as the ribosome, fatty acid synthase, CRISPR/Cas, or intrinsically disordered proteins. They will work in a state-of-the-art environment with access to high-performance GPU compute facilities and will collaborate with the University of Göttingen.
