Job Description:
PhD Position (f/m/d) – Acoustic Tools for 3D Cell Culture
- Build experimental setups using acoustic holograms for shaping ultrasound fields.
- Collaborate with specialized research groups to advance 3D cell cultures and organoid engineering.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Design and construct novel experimental setups.
- Interest in microfluidics, 3D cell culture, and organ-on-a-chip technologies.
- Some interest in programming with Python or Matlab.
- Organizational and communication skills are beneficial.
Supervisor: Dr. Kai Melde at IMSEAM
Position Type: PhD position (TV-L 13, 65%)
Duration: Initially funded for 3 years with a starting date based on mutual agreement but preferably before April 2024.
