Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of mechanical process engineering, mineral processing, particle technology, and recycling
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, R is advantageous
- Team-oriented, curious, and enjoys scientific work
- Very good English skills (C1 level) and basic German language skills (at least A1 level)
Job Description:
- Lead a publicly funded project within a cluster
- Plan, execute, and document experiments in lab and pilot scale
- Investigate the beneficiation of Black Mass in the recycling of Lithium-Ion-Batteries using Froth Flotation and other methods
- Analyze and characterize complex material streams for process mass balancing through solid state methods (e.g., SEM/EDX) and wet chemical analysis
- Publish findings in conferences and peer-reviewed journals
