PhD Position at INRAE: INRAE offers a fully funded PhD position as part of an ANR JCJC “PHENOMANI” project, commencing at the end of 2024-early 2025. The selected candidate will delve into insect vector behavior and plant virology within the research unit UMR SVQV, focusing on host plant manipulation by viruses and its impact on viral transmission via vector insects.
Designation:
PhD Position
Research Area:
Plant Virology and Insect Behavior
Location:
Colmar, France
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Ecology, Agronomy, or Virology.
- Proficiency in plant-insect interactions and phytopathology.
- Experience in new tools for studying insect behavior like video-tracking.
