Scholarship Description

PhD Position: 3D Gradient Photopolymer Printing Using Bio-Based and Bio-Degradable Materials

In this project, you will explore the possibilities of creating gradient 3D printed photopolymers using bio-based and bio-degradable materials. You’ll be involved in developing methods for gradient 3D printing, deriving biopolymers from plants, and studying biodegradation processes. The goal is to not only propose new sustainable printing solutions but also gain insights into the properties and behaviors of inhomogeneous materials. This research aims to make 3D printing more environmentally friendly while maintaining gradient functionality.

Eligibility To be eligible for this scholarship, you should have a BSc. or MSc. in Chemistry with visible experimental skills in Organic Chemistry. You should also have a good theoretical background or practical knowledge of 3D printing of polymers and a strong passion for research. Proficiency in English and teamwork skills are essential.

Required Documents Prepare the following documents for your application:

  1. Motivation letter highlighting your specific interest and motivation.
  2. Detailed CV.
  3. Academic transcripts of your BSc. and MSc. education.
  4. One reference from your former supervisor with contact details.

How to Apply Submit your application online through the provided application button before the deadline of November 30, 2023.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to sustainable manufacturing through innovative 3D printing technology.
