Job Description
The research focuses on investigating root exudation mechanisms in boreal plants to understand their impact on nitrogen availability and plant growth. The doctoral candidate will work with boreal plants under controlled axenic conditions, analyzing root exudates using advanced LC-MS and GC-MS techniques. The project involves collaboration with the Swedish Metabolomics Centre and the Umeå Plant Science Centre. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with expertise in plant physiology, forest ecophysiology, and metabolomics.

Funding/Employment Type: Full-time PhD position for four years.
