PhD Position – Cognitive Maturation: The Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-7) is seeking a doctoral student to join the Multiscale Neurodevelopment team. This position will focus on investigating the neuroanatomical foundations of higher-order cognition through the analysis of large-scale multi-modal neuroimaging cohorts of children and adolescents.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Excellent university degree (Master) in neuroscience or a related field
- Solid understanding of statistics and programming (Python or Matlab)
- Passion for human neuroanatomy and cognitive neuroscience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Job Description:
- Work with a variety of imaging modalities (structural, diffusion-weighted, and functional MRI, intracranial EEG)
- Conduct multi-scale modelling of human brain development
- Utilize machine learning frameworks to explore the relationship between brain development and cognitive maturation
- Produce high-quality scientific articles
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of neuroscientists, computer scientists, and clinicians
