Description
The PhD position entails working within a multidisciplinary team aimed at revolutionizing dialysis therapy. This project focuses on addressing the limitations of existing dialysis filters that fail to effectively remove certain toxins, particularly protein-bound uremic toxins. The role requires independent research, mentoring of Bachelor’s and Master’s students, and contributions to the development of innovative technologies within the realm of artificial organs.
Key Offerings:
- A full-time position for four years, supervised by experienced faculty.
- Salary ranging from €2,901 (first year) to €3,707 (fourth year), along with holiday allowance, end-of-year bonuses, and pension schemes.
- A comprehensive training program as part of the Twente Graduate School.
- Minimum of 232 leave hours based on a 38-hour work week, with an additional 96 leave hours for actual full-time work.
