Description

The PhD position entails the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct growth studies of 2D layers and stack formations, including graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides, utilizing metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD).
  • Characterize growth stages using advanced nanoanalytical techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy, and photoemission spectroscopy.
  • Analyze intra- and interlayer interactions and optimize growth for 2D heterostructures.
  • Collaborate with partners and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
