Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in social sciences, linguistics, communication science, media studies, artificial intelligence, or related fields
- Strong research skills demonstrated through outstanding Master’s thesis and potential for publication in high-ranking journals
- Interest in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of technology, culture, and society
- Familiarity with ethnomethodology or other relational perspectives on meaning-making
- Methodological skills in conversation analysis
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
Job Description:
- Develop and submit a PhD thesis within the appointment period
- Publish peer-reviewed articles
- Present research results at workshops and conferences
- Engage in knowledge dissemination activities
- Participate in training programmes
- Conduct theoretical and empirical research on meaning-making in relation to AI
- Explore varied research themes related to human-machine interaction and sense-making processes
