PhD Position in B Cell Immunology: Helmholtz Munich is offering a fully-funded PhD position in B Cell Immunology within the Molecular Immunology group at the Center of Allergy & Environment. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Qualification to enroll as a PhD student at the Technical University Munich, School of Life Sciences.
- Practical expertise and theoretical background in immunology, genetics, epigenetics, molecular biology, or biochemistry.
- Interest in conducting research using mice as animal models.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Scientific curiosity, creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work in an interdisciplinary and international team.
Job Description:
- Develop in vivo and in vitro model systems to uncover new regulators of IgE-mediated B cell responses.
- Explore the molecular mechanisms and functions of the identified regulators.
- Utilize techniques in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and single-cell analysis technologies.
- Plan and conduct experiments, analyze data, publish scientific findings, and present research in seminars and conferences.
- Stay updated on scientific literature related to the research topic.
