Job Description:
The research will encompass:
- Addressing power electronics and EMS challenges for traction grids.
- Evaluating energy storage for voltage control and peak shaving.
- Developing robust state estimators for effective energy dispatch.
- Designing wide-input and wide-output multi-port converters to integrate batteries, EV chargers, RES, and traction grids.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Masterโs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a well-recognized university.
- Experience with modeling batteries, solar PV systems, power flows in DC grids, and EV charging demand.
- Strong background in power electronics and experimental setup development.
- Exceptional English language skills; knowledge of Dutch is beneficial.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
